Ramone Alexander

Director of Inclusivity and Community Building
Dr. Ramone Alexander came to Nichols School in 2016 as the school’s first Director of Inclusivity and Community Building. In his first two years at Nichols, he taught in the Math Department teaching algebra in the Middle School. Dr. Alexander currently co-teaches Service and Social Justice, a senior elective offered in the Upper School history department.
 
Prior to joining Nichols, Dr. Alexander served as a principal investigator in the Graduate School of Education at the University at Buffalo. In that role, he administered Liberty Partnerships, an academic and social support program for middle and high school students situated in the University at Buffalo’s Office for University Preparatory Programs.

A lifelong Buffalonian, Dr. Alexander graduated from Columbia University with a BA in Psychology. He earned his Doctorate of Medicine from the University at Buffalo School of Medicine. Dr. Alexander currently lives in the city of Buffalo with his daughter Asia.
